With over 35 years of international experience, José Robles has served presidents, kings, queens, and ultra-high-net-worth individuals across some of the world's most prestigious diplomatic, royal, and luxury environments.
A graduate of the International Butler Academy in the Netherlands, José began his career at the Élysée Palace under President François Mitterrand — before managing operations at the French Embassy in Rome, one of the most prestigious diplomatic residences in the world.
Throughout his career, he has cultivated an unparalleled understanding of ultra-luxury service, diplomatic protocol, operational precision, and the invisible behavioral standards that define world-class hospitality.
In 2008, he founded IHMA — International Hospitality Management Academy — where he has since trained more than 3,500 professionals now working across over 30 countries, shaping a new generation of luxury hospitality leaders.
His clients and collaborations include globally recognized institutions and hospitality brands such as Ritz-Carlton, Mandarin Oriental, Dorchester Collection, and St. Regis, as well as royal households and the residences of world leaders.
José has personally served iconic figures including Bill Gates, Michael Jackson, Madonna, and Neil Armstrong — while also participating in historic international events such as the Bicentennial of the French Revolution and the Buckingham Palace State Banquet in 2008.
In 2025, José launches The International Butler Institute, envisioned as one of the world's most elite training institutions dedicated to ultra-luxury service and hospitality excellence. He is currently leading an exclusive recruitment and training initiative for the Royal Court of Saudi Arabia.
